Visceral Response

This is a photo that I took when I was visiting my in-laws last summer in New York. We were headed back from Coney Island and before I took this photo I saw all the lines and texture and was hoping the camera I was using could do the same. Right off the bat you can see the lines both on the ground, to the tracks, and up on the roof. I feel there's a little bit of positive and negative space. The train hasn't arrived yet so there's room there but I'm pretty close to the beams as well which don't give much positive shape. There's lots of color in this image from the yellow on the ground to the beams, train, benches, and the sun that's also penetrating through the roof. I mentioned earlier about texture and I feel there's lots of texture in this picture which stands out to the viewer.
